💬 What Parents Are Saying

Early readers are loving it — and we'd love to hear your thoughts too!

“I’m 68 and a retired construction guy. I’ve tried apps and other books, but nothing worked — until this. After just one session, my granddaughter could read eight words. It’s easy to follow and actually works.”
– Randy K. (Amazon Review)
“Simple and clear techniques that actually got my child excited to read. The guide walks you from letters to short words and builds up to full sentences. A great foundation for early readers.”
– Amazon Customer
“As a reading specialist who has taught hundreds of students, I found this guide well-structured and simple to follow. It's ideal for busy parents and homeschoolers — highly recommended!”

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 About the Authors

Hello! We’re Sergio and Maria, both Doctors of Medical Sciences—and proud parents to four wonderful children: Rune, Katie, Victoria, and Max.

Each of them has their own personality, interests, and quirks, but they all share one thing in common—a deep love of books. In fact, when we look through old family photos, most pictures show one of them curled up somewhere, completely absorbed in a story.

We never set out to raise bookworms, but there were a few key principles we followed that, looking back, likely helped nurture their love of reading:

  • We always kept age-appropriate books around. If a child liked a particular story, we’d find more like it. One daughter loved Santa stories—so we kept them out all year!
  • Reading became part of our daily rhythm. If a child asked to read, we’d pause what we were doing and curl up in our reading corner, blankets and all.
  • Books came before reading ability. With toddlers, we’d explore pictures and ask questions, even if they couldn’t yet read the words.
  • We developed our own reading method. Since we couldn’t find a guide that matched our home routine, we made one ourselves—and that became our first book: Teach Your Child to Read: A Simple Step-by-Step Plan.

That was just the beginning.

With help from our kids, we now have a growing list of ideas—drawn from real-life family moments. Our second book, The Busy Little Seed, was created to be the very first book a child can read all by themselves.

Next up is a story inspired by Max—and we can't wait to share it with you. It’s a joyful process for our whole family, and we’re so grateful to create books that reflect the magic of childhood and the power of reading.

“We hope our work brings something special to your home, just as it has to ours.”

Our books are designed for early learners. The guide is ideal for children ages 4–6 (and sometimes 3–8), while our storybooks support first reading steps around age 4 and up.

Yes! Our method was made by parents, for parents (and grandparents, babysitters, anyone). You don’t need any teaching experience—just a willingness to read together.

Just 10–15 minutes a day. The system is built to work in short, real-life moments — no pressure, no long lessons, and no screen time needed.

Not at all. Our books are helpful for both native English speakers and families learning English as a second language. The system uses clear language and visual cues to support learning in any household.

Always playful. We believe learning to read should feel like a game, not a chore. Our approach is gentle, joyful, and designed to build confidence—not pressure.
